The Interactive Media Showcase showcases student work from the Interactive Media BSc degree at the University of York, UK. The event is held every year, and this year was held inside the Black Box (a Facility in the TFTI Department)
Although the 2022 showcase has now ended, you can still check out the projects from our previous sites!
How to attend?
Opening Gala
Friday
17th June ( 7:00pm - 9:00pm )
The Interactive Media Showcase starts with an opening party from 7:00pm to 7:30pm in the lobby, the judging for projects and the awarding ceremony will also be held on this day. You will have to reserve a ticket for the opening gala. This event will be held inside the Black Box (a Facility in the TFTI Department).
Project Exhibition & Workshops
Saturday & Sunday
18th - 19th June ( 10:30am to 3:00pm )
The Saturday and Sunday event features the project exhibition of the interactive media students, as well as several talks and workshops that cover different disciplines. This event will be held inside the Black Box (a Facility in the TFTI Department).
What is the IM Showcase?
The IM showcase celebrates innovative works by BSc Interactive Media students completed throughout the academic year. Projects ranging from Games, Websites, Apps, AR, and VR will be showcased during the event, providing you with the opportunity to explore numerous interactive project ideas and connect with talented students from the Interactive Media course, as well as academic and other industry professionals!
